- What Your Impact Is As a Managing Technical Consultant, Ecologist (Scientist or Biologist), you'll be the go-to ecological subject matter expert, guiding critical projects from concept to completion.
Responsibilities
- Lead project teams in preparing technical documents, including Ecological Evaluations and Remedial Investigation Reports.
- Support ecological risk assessments through data interpretation and collaboration with risk assessors.
- Manage land use and wetlands permitting efforts under NJDEP programs.
- Maintain strong client and agency relationships while delivering projects on time and within budget.

Requirements
- Experience with NJDEP's Bureau of Environmental Radiation (BER).
Nice to have
- BS or MS in biology, wetland science, plant ecology, or a related field-or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of consulting experience (8+ preferred) in ecological evaluations, QA/QC, technical writing, and multi-media permitting.
- Deep knowledge of biological and wetland ecology impact assessment and management issues across industry sectors.
- Familiarity with state and federal environmental regulations
- NJDEP experience strongly preferred.

Compensation
- For the Managing Technical Consultant, Ecologist position, the anticipated annual base pay is $90,810 - $124,245 (USD).
- Actual pay will depend on factors such as education, experience, skills, location, performance, and business needs.
- In some cases, pay may fall outside this range.
- This role may be eligible for bonus pay (casual and fixed term/flex force employees are not bonus eligible).
