About the role

  • As a QA Engineer at Opiniion, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our property management software solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Test Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements and user stories.
  • Regression Testing: Conduct regular regression testing- Manual and automated- to validate that existing functionalities remain intact after new features or enhancements are implemented.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve issues early.
  • Defect Reporting and Tracking: Document and report software defects clearly and accurately in Clickup, providing detailed information to development teams for resolution.
  • Track and manage the lifecycle of reported defects to closure.
  • Perform database testing against MongoDB to validate data integrity and back-end behavior.
  • Performance and Load Testing: Collaborate with the QA team to conduct performance and load testing to assess the software's scalability and stability.
  • Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements and user stories.
  • Conduct regular regression testing- Manual and automated- to validate that existing functionalities remain intact after new features or enhancements are implemented.
  • Document and report software defects clearly and accurately in Clickup, providing detailed information to development teams for resolution.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in QA testing, with proficiency in both manual and automated testing methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to pick up new tools and system quickly Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Mabl, or transferable automation tools (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress).
  • Comfort deploying branches to cloud-hosted test environments (we use AWS).
  • Database testing experience, especially with MongoDB.
  • Experience using AI tools (like Claude) in a QA workflow.
  • Familiarity with Agile, ClickUp, and Slack.
  • Familiarity with property management software and related technologies is advantageous.
