About the role
- As an Associate Veterinarian with an avian and exotic focus, you'll practice at the top of your license across a rich variety of species.
- You'll have the mentorship of experienced colleagues, the backing of a Medical Director, and access to our specialist network-including a boarded surgeon, cardiologist, and two traveling internists.
- Personal assistant checks in/out all your appointments and monitors your task lists all day
Responsibilities
- You'll work alongside a collaborative team that includes our Customer Experience Team (CET), Technicians (TT), and Veterinary Assistants (VA)-all trained to support multi-species care at a high level.
- Support for ABVP board pursuit if you're on the path
Requirements
- 5+ years of clinical experience, with meaningful avian and exotic caseload
- DEA license & USDA accreditation preferred, not required
Nice to have
- We stay on schedule so you walk out on time, every time
- Monday-Friday only.
- Your weekends are always yours.
- Four 10-hour days.
- Always a 3-day weekend, every week
- Hospital closes 2 hrs/week for rounds, training, and team development
- 5+ years of clinical experience, with significant avian and exotic caseload
- ABVP boarded in Avian or Exotic Companion Mammal medicine preferred- or actively working toward it

- Birds (psittacines, passerines, raptors, and more)
- Rabbits
- Guinea pigs
- Ferrets
- Reptiles (lizards, snakes, chelonians, and beyond)
- Pocket pets (hamsters, gerbils, mice, rats, chinchillas)
- Amphibians
- No two days look alike.
