About the role
- As an EHS Coordinator at Vestcom (an Avery Dennison company), you will play a key role in driving environmental compliance, occupational health, and safety programs across our U.S. manufacturing facilities.
- Hazard Assessment & Incident Prevention:
- Facilitate risk assessments, self-inspections, and root-cause analyses to address deficiencies and track corrective actions.
Responsibilities
- Safety Culture & Compliance: Implement EHS systems, conduct facility audits, and ensure daily adherence to OSHA, EPA, and internal EHS standards.
- Training & Advisory: Develop and deliver engaging site training while serving as a trusted EHS advisor to facility leadership and staff.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current on regulatory laws and partner with multi-site teams to support corporate EHS and sustainability initiatives.
- We design and develop labeling and functional materials, radio-frequency identification (RFID) inlays and tags, software applications that connect the physical and digital and offerings that enhance branded packaging and carry or display information that improves the customer experience.

Requirements
- Proficiency with Google Workspace or office tools
- ability to travel up to 10%.
- Metrics & Reporting: Monitor leading and lagging performance indicators, track EHS metrics, and notify leadership or regulatory agencies of incidents as required.
Nice to have
- 1-3+ years of EHS, occupational safety, or environmental compliance experience, ideally in a manufacturing or multi-site environment.
- Foundational understanding of OSHA and EPA regulations, hazard assessments, and waste management practices.
