  • As a Decarbonization Data Analyst in the Climate Corps Fellowship program, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to impactful sustainability initiatives with Silicon Valley Clean Energy Authority.

Responsibilities

  • Build out reports within Power BI to better support our Customer Success Team and the Decarb Roadmap Plan.
  • Develop expertise in a wide tech stack, including, but not limited to, SQL, Power BI, GitHub, GCP, and Salesforce.
  • 10 Personal Days (for a standard 10-month Fellowship), in addition to all holidays off that are observed as closure days by the partner placement site.
  • The University of California Climate Stewards Certification equips you to lead community and ecosystem resilience initiatives.
  • SEI's Climate Corps Fellowship program offers the chance to lead impactful climate and community resilience projects while gaining paid, hands-on experience.
  • This full-time, bridge-to-career opportunity pairs fellows with host organizations, from local governments to nonprofits and businesses, to drive real-world change.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in R or Python for research, data analysis, and data visualization.
  • Self-directed and comfortable operating in a dynamic, fast-paced start-up environment, with the ability to work individually and in teams.
  • Strong organization skills and ability to be agile and nimble to evolving work products and deadlines.
  • Must be 18 years or older to apply.
  • Experience working with data warehouses and relational databases, as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.
  • Experience with GIS or other geospatial software tools.
  • Experience with project management software - Trello, Asana, Monday.com.
  • Experience with Salesforce.
  • Familiarity with version control (GitHub) and coding best practices.
  • Experience with data visualization/BI tools such as Tableau, Looker Studio, Power BI, etc.
