About the role
- The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing large-scale civil projects, preparing estimates and bids, coordinating project execution, and maintaining project budgets from start to finish.
- Prepare accurate project estimates, bid submissions, and tender packages.
- Coordinate and schedule large-scale construction projects to ensure milestones and deadlines are met.
Responsibilities
- Manage water, sewer, and civil construction projects from planning through completion.
- Perform quantity and material take-offs from drawings and specifications.
- Manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, progress reports, and project closeout.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience in civil construction.
- Proven experience managing Water & Sewer infrastructure projects.
- Experience coordinating and scheduling large-scale construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of project budgeting, cost analysis, and cost tracking.
- Experience performing quantity and material take-offs.
- Proficiency with Bid2Win is required.
- Strong understanding of underground utility construction methods.
- Required Qualifications
Nice to have
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or a related field is considered an asset.
- Experience working on municipal infrastructure projects is considered an asset.
- Experience with additional estimating or project management software is considered an asset.
- Certifications The following certifications are considered strong assets (or may be required depending on the project):
- Ground Disturbance Level II
- Standard First Aid
- Leadership for Safety Excellence
- Confined Space Entry
Compensation
