About the role

  • The Intern, Finance Analytics position requires a creative problem solver to develop automated solutions for a global organization. Responsibilities include analysis, development, support, implementation, and scaling of dashboard development in a high paced enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain data quality checks to prevent incomplete/inaccurate data and ensure timeliness and consistency.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple activities in a very dynamic, changing environment.
  • Create and deliver technical and project documentation as required using Jira, Confluence, Git, etc.
  • Participates in investigation and remediation of issues as required.

Nice to have

  • Experience in gathering business requirements and translating to technical details.
  • Knowledge of SQL and data analysis and experience with at least one programming language (Python preferred).
  • Experience with Git, Jira, Confluence.
  • Conceptual knowledge of data and analytics, such as dimensional modeling, ETL, reporting tools, data governance, data warehousing, structured and unstructured data.
  • Experience working with data pipelines as they relate to a front-end BI tool such as Tableau, Power BI, or MicroStrategy.
  • Physical Requirements/Work Environment
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Sitting, working at desk/personal computer for extended periods of time.
