Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger and sub-ledger accounts for assigned, ensuring timely and precise financial reporting.
- Track and manage property budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor leasing activity and occupancy reports, leveraging Yardi for data accuracy.
- Create detailed financial models and reports using Excel to facilitate management review and insights.
- In this pivotal role, you will manage financial records and reporting for a diverse portfolio of multi-tenant light industrial, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of property accounting experience, preferably in an industrial or warehouse setting.
- Proficiency in Yardi 7S/8 Property Management Software.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and accounting best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience coordinating workflows and task tracking through project management tools like Asana.
Compensation
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP, driving transparency and accountability.
- Utilize Yardi for tenant billing and annual CAM reconciliations, enhancing operational efficiency.
