About the role

  • The Event Production intern will assist the Event Production department with back-of-house and front-of-house operations and activities during events in the arena, which includes basketball games, hockey games, concerts, and ancillary events.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the arena Event Calendar in collaboration with the Booking department.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Department to confirm room set ups for meetings, concourse set ups for games, and chair sets for concerts.
  • Assist with creation of event documentation for various events throughout the building.
  • Update and document historical event data.

Requirements

  • Related internships or experience in venue management, operations or event management.
  • Strong understanding of MS Office including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes in a multi-client environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Nice to have

  • Some AutoCAD knowledge is preferred.
