About the role
- We are a small cross-functional product team with a broad range of responsibilities and duties.
- We're always up for a challenge and love learning new things!
- We're looking for a well rounded engineer who is confident working on the frontend, backend as well as be ready to dive in and work on a variety of other tasks including dev-ops and infrastructure related tasks.
Responsibilities
- Expanding on the existing frameworks and services to implement new features and innovate on our software products
- Working with others to design, implement and support our Kubernetes infrastructure and services
- Implement security and performance improvements to our services
- Production support (occasionally)
- We collaborate with product managers, UX and other development teams globally across Resmed.
- We own features from development all the way through to production.

Requirements
- Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases
- Experience with microservice and micro-frontend architectures
Skills
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Experience delivering production features with an object-oriented language (Java preferred).
- Experience delivering production features with a Web Application Framework (React preferred).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Solid ability in writing clean, maintainable code while following good engineering practices.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Experience writing automated unit, e2e, integration and contract tests.
- Experience working with task management tools such as Jira
- Experience working with Monitoring tools such as Datadog
- Experience coding with AI tools
- Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent
- Spring Boot, React
