About the role

  • We are a small cross-functional product team with a broad range of responsibilities and duties.
  • We're always up for a challenge and love learning new things!
  • We're looking for a well rounded engineer who is confident working on the frontend, backend as well as be ready to dive in and work on a variety of other tasks including dev-ops and infrastructure related tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Expanding on the existing frameworks and services to implement new features and innovate on our software products
  • Working with others to design, implement and support our Kubernetes infrastructure and services
  • Implement security and performance improvements to our services
  • Production support (occasionally)
  • We collaborate with product managers, UX and other development teams globally across Resmed.
  • We own features from development all the way through to production.

Requirements

  • Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with microservice and micro-frontend architectures

Skills

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Experience delivering production features with an object-oriented language (Java preferred).
  • Experience delivering production features with a Web Application Framework (React preferred).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Solid ability in writing clean, maintainable code while following good engineering practices.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience writing automated unit, e2e, integration and contract tests.
  • Experience working with task management tools such as Jira
  • Experience working with Monitoring tools such as Datadog
  • Experience coding with AI tools
  • Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Spring Boot, React

Compensation

  • At ResMed, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
