About the role

  • Responsible for supervising the production and assembly of personal care products that meet and exceed the leading industry standards.
  • Monitor and notify Scheduler and Sales of any changes to the Fill Schedule.
  • Monitor and track all important KPIs set by the company and/or upper management.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to lead and motivate a Team of Leads, Coordinators, Production Associates, temporary employees, and Mechanics to achieve daily, monthly, and yearly goals.

Requirements

  • Must be able to discern differences in colors and shades.
  • Must be able to read labels that could contain small fonts.
  • Ability to sit, balance, climb, stand, bend, squat, squeeze, kneel, turn, crouch, stoop repeatedly.
  • Technical Skills Required Ability to learn and navigate an MRP/ERP system.

Skills

  • Required Ability to learn and navigate an MRP/ERP system.
  • Knowledge of KPIs as they relate to industry standards.
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing.
  • Great communication skills with all levels of employees and management.
  • Understanding of how to read and navigate an open order report.
  • Experience Required Bachelor's degree or 3 to 5 years of experience is preferred.
  • Three years of experience managing a large group in a production/assembly work environment.
