About the role
- The Clinical Associate may be approved with phlebotomy tasks with the proper certfication, department need and leadership consent.
- The pre-anesthesia preparation unit is a fast-paced department aimed at focusing on quality presurgical care that fosters patient safety and successful surgical outcomes.
- Communication and interdisciplinary teamwork serve as a essential link to ensuring safe and quality patient care.
Responsibilities

- Performs clinical and clerical support.
- Provides basic technical clinical services and clerical support in the delivery of quality patient care as directed by licensed staff, physician or mid-level practitioner.
- Performs basic clinical services relating to the care, cleanliness, safety, and comfort of patients.
- Operates and maintains general office equipment.
- Monitors cleanliness of the waiting and break rooms, and performs safety/environmental rounds.
Requirements
- Effective interpersonal, communication, and team-working skills required.
- Must be organized and self -motivated.
- Must have knowledge of office procedure and equipment.
- Incumbents may be required to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description.
- Will also be required to perform other department/unit specific tasks.
Compensation
- $18.70 - $26.18 Employee pay is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience.
- The compensation range does not include benefits or pension plan.
