About the role
- Title: Network ENgineer Location: NY/NJ and can interview in person.
- Duration: Duration: 6+ months Interview: Phone screening followed by a Face to Face interview.
Responsibilities
- The position is responsible the engineering, delivery and Tier 2/3 support of all aspects of IT Network Services for the business in the NYC region.
- This role will be primarily accountable for the build and operational competency of the retail store network architecture in region.
- Build and manage retail and corporate network infrastructure to global standards using consistent processes.
- Define the design and technical configurations for network services.
Requirements
- College (4 year) BS degree with Computer Science or Engineering major
Skills
- TCP/IP Basics (CCNA highly desired)
- Experience with 3850/3650 series switches, 2900 series routers and Steelhead appliances
- Understanding of wireless, Aruba preferred
- Experience with routing protocols, OSPF, BGP
- Experience with VLAN creation and management
- Experience with Meraki security appliances
