Responsibilities
- Develop manufacturing methods and process drawings using standard GD&T practices and technical work instructions
- Maintain revision control and revision changes for manufacturing process drawings
- Support the research, design, and selection of tooling, fixturing, and gauging to be used in the manufacturing process
- Support commercial quote activity by assessing technical feasibility and providing engineering calculations
- Provide additional support to the engineering department as needed
- Having a hands-on approach with assembly of designs and fixturing
- As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer your primary responsibility will be to take ownership of one or more manufacturing cells and manage that cells manufacturing process from beginning to end.
Requirements
- Strong experience in process drawings and GD&T per ASME Y14.5 standards

- Personal Protective Equipment - typically required to perform the essential functions of this job - will be provided.

Skills
- Knowledge of metals
- Knowledge of Non-Destructive Testing including Magnetic Particle, Pressure Testing, and Dye Penetrant
- Knowledge of Mechanical Testing including Tensile Test, Hardness Test, Ultrasonic Test, Magnetic Particle Test
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
- Ability to use basic inspection tools such as micrometers, caliper, and dial indicators
- Excellent interpersonal, written, organizational and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask with a focus on time management to meet schedules
- A high attention to detail with a mechanical aptitude
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Project)
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent field
- Minimum 8 years of engineering experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment
- Experience with ISO9001/AS9100
