About the role
- You will be responsible for managing a wide range of research projects - from advocacy and political polling to brand lift studies to predictive modeling.
- Ideal candidates are passionate about uncovering answers and solving problems for our clients, comfortable collaborating with others to conduct the best work possible, and able to juggle multiple projects and competing timelines at once.
- This role will report to the Director of Survey Research & Campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Craft memos and PowerPoint presentations presenting research clearly and effectively, including strategic recommendations on how to optimize existing and upcoming campaigns
- Build and present compelling new business proposals and pitch decks that reflect a deep understanding of the company's survey research products and the client's specific challenges
- Manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously to ensure Applecart is meeting client needs
- Familiarity with a range of measurement and research designs including max-diff, conjoint, difference-in-differences, and brand lift
Nice to have
- Proven ability to thrive in a client-facing role and fast-paced environment juggling multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Experience creating and delivering reports in presentation, slide deck, and memo form to high-profile client stakeholders and strong data visualization skills
- Understanding of survey/market research fielding, including managing quotas, reviewing survey programming, and troubleshooting issues as they arise
- Willingness to be a team player and mentor more junior-level employees
- History of being a self-starter
- Experience constructing and/or presenting new business proposals a plus
- Experience producing culturally competent materials with diverse audiences a plus
- Spanish language proficiency a plus

- Excellent project management skills with strong attention to detail
Compensation
- Our compensation package consists of three components: (i) a base salary, (ii) annual cash bonus, and (iii) generous equity compensation.
- The base salary range for this role is between $115,000-$130,000, based on the candidate's experience and skills relative to the requirements listed above.
- The salary range provided is exclusive of discretionary annual cash bonus and equity compensation.
- The salary range provided for this role is specific to candidates located in the New York City area.
