About the role
- As a software engineer, you will work with our cross-functional team of product engineers, designers, product managers, and release engineers.
- You will help to actively enhance the capability of ArcGIS Online feature services from inception to delivery, using the latest technology.
- We are looking for professionals in several specific areas including relational (PostgreSQL, SQLServer) and No-SQL databases, Distributed database, and RESTful web services.
Responsibilities
- Design and build server-side RESTful web service to power developer and geospatial application access to the platform
- Design, implement, and maintain components within the ArcGIS Online platform, which spans infrastructure across Azure cloud
- Build scalable, reusable, and maintainable components
- Work collaboratively with other teams to understand requirements and incorporate them into the feature service Design
- Solid understanding of API design and object-oriented design patterns
Requirements
- 2+ years of industry experience coding in C#, C++, and.NET platform
- Experience with Azure cloud computing platforms and services
- Fundamental knowledge of computational geometry data structures and algorithms
- Strong knowledge of GIT
- Bachelor's degree in math, computer science, physics, engineering, or related field
- Working knowledge of a source control system, preferably GIT
- Familiarity with JSON and HTTP protocol
- Experience in GIS data structures and algorithms
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in math, computer science, physics, engineering, or related field
Compensation
- A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is
- $101,192 - $167,336 USD
