- RESPEC, seeks a Water Resource Project Engineer in our Water market sector, located in Denver, CO.

Responsibilities
- As a Project Engineer you will be involved with all forms of planning, design, and specialty services related to the stormwater and water resources engineering field.
- Projects often involve hydrology, hydraulics, floodplain analyses, detention/water quality BMP design, stream restoration, bridge scour, trail design, stormwater management plans, MS4 compliance, and water rights.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or a related engineering field
- 6-12 years of experience in stormwater engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Colorado or ability to obtain upon hire, and have experience in providing engineering services the state
- The ideal candidate will have project engineering experience and be eager to continue transitioning into a future project management role.
Nice to have
- At least 3-5 years of experience in the following:
- AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS
- Construction oversight of stormwater project installations

Compensation
- Salary depends on experience and expertise, typical salary range for this position in California is $85k-105k, DOEQ.
- Compensation includes a comprehensive fringe-benefits package.
