About the role

  • Project work may involve hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, dam safety and reservoir systems, stormwater planning and flood control, and preparation of technical reports, plans, and specifications.

  • About you. required core competencies
  • bachelor's degree in civil/environmental engineering with emphasis on water resources.
  • Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling approaches and commonly used software.
  • Experience with proposal development, client management, and business development.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship by Barr, now or in the future.
  • Master's degree or PhD in civil or environmental engineering with a focus on hydrology, hydraulics, and/or water quality.
  • 16+ years of water resources engineering experience with a focus on hydrology, hydraulics, and/or water quality.
  • Experience with Western water rights.

Compensation

  • anticipated range of $115,000-$130,000/year.
  • Compensation will vary based on relevant experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors.
