About the role
- This role combines technical expertise, project management, and leadership, with responsibility for delivering high-quality commissioning services, supporting client relationships, and mentoring junior team members.
Responsibilities
- Lead commissioning activities on projects of varying size and complexity
- Act as the owner's representative, ensuring systems meet design intent and operational requirements
- Manage project scope, schedules, and deliverables while maintaining quality and budget
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic support for building systems
- Lead building audits and infrastructure assessments, providing detailed and actionable reports
- Review and interpret system design, installation, and operational performance
- Guide and support Commissioning Coordinators and Specialists
- Review and validate project data, reports, and deliverables
- Support workload planning and resource allocation across projects
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of commissioning experience
- Ability to attend construction sites and access mechanical/service areas
- Ability to obtain government security clearance (if required)
