About the role
- Summary: Reporting to the Assistant Director of Fitness and Wellness, the Bike Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and safe operation of all bicycles and related equipment.
- Conduct general inspections and complete tune-ups on multiple bikes during scheduled work periods to ensure they are safe and functional.
- Identify worn or damaged components and replace basic parts such as tubes and chains.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine upkeep including fixing flat tires, replacing and lubricating chains, tightening components, and completing minor mechanical repairs on standard bicycles.
- Clean and maintain bicycles to extend lifespan and keep the fleet in good working condition.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and ensure tools are properly stored and in working condition.
