Individual contributor responsible for business results through delivery of risk control services within an area.

Engages with underwriting to drive corporate strategies for targeted lines of business, industry or specialized risk control area.
Optimizes distribution engagement, strengthening relationships with agents and brokers to provide customer solutions.
Analyzes risk control strengths and weaknesses to maintain a competitive edge in the marketplace.
Develops United States or global risk control strategies to positively impact loss ratios, new business goals and retention requirements to achieve profitability targets.
Applies risk control policies, guidelines, insurance laws and regulations, and drives the resolution of critical/cost driver risk control issues.
Develops and maintains business relationships with internal and external business partners. Known expert among Risk Control staff and CNA partners within the industry, actively shaping new industry relationships.
Excellent communication, negotiation, decision making and presentation skills. Ability to effectively interact with all levels of internal and external business partners.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and simultaneously manage multiple projects and teams.

Bachelor's degree with Masters preferred or equivalent experience with professional designation(s) needed for the industry, segment or LOB being represented.
Works within the broadest limits of authority requiring the highest degree of technical complexity and coordination.
