About the role

  • The Technical Program Manager will oversee multiple projects, bridging product and engineering teams to ensure that the team's vision and direction translate into seamless execution.
  • Occasional leadership reporting and stakeholder presentations are part of the role.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain program roadmaps, timelines, and dependencies.
  • Manage resource allocation.
  • Drive operational excellence and process improvements.
  • Create and maintain program documentation.
  • Develop mitigation strategies.
  • This person will work cross-functionally across program design, product development, data, compliance, security, infrastructure, and support teams.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years minimum of program or project management experience focused on software engineering
  • Proven experience as a Technical Program Manager
  • Proficiency in program management software and tools.

Skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Collaborative and self-directed; can work independently without constant direction.
  • Comfortable with rolling up and drilling down information depending on the audience.
  • Bachelors Degree in engineering or a related field
  • Onsite availability in office in Palo Alto (3 days/week)
  • PMP, PgMP, or other relevant certifications.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.

  • Desirable Skills
  • Tools: Notion, Claude, Smartsheets or comparable project management software (open to alternatives).

Compensation

  • The pay range for this role is between $75 - $100/hour, and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience.
