About the role

Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience as an ISSO supporting major federal information systems/applications.
- Bachelor's degree required
- DoD IAT II certification Required - (Sec+CE, CySA, SSCP, GSEC, etc)
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Project for planning, tracking, and reporting security tasks and remediation activities.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Project Managers and Product Owners to deconflict, scope, plan, and execute continuous monitoring and security efforts.
- At least 3 years of experience performing vulnerability assessments, including use of ACAS scans to evaluate compliance with STIGs and identify system vulnerabilities.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns, assess risks, and prioritize security tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to convey deadlines, risks, and remediation strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge with auditing security controls
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple teams and stakeholders.
Nice to have
- DoD IAM II certification strongly preferred (CISSP, CISA, etc)
