About the role
- Quality Engineer - Aerospace Materials Shelby, NC Are you a passionate and driven Quality Engineer who is looking to take their career to new heights?

- Through your duties as a Quality Engineer, you will interface with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and S&T teams.
Responsibilities
- Continuously improving product quality and manufacturing processes, support production team to troubleshoot production batches of coatings and sealants to ensure FTQ
- Lead RCCA analysis using statistical quality tools and corrective action implementation with cross functional teams
- Create, Maintain and Revise Process Flow Diagrams, Lead and facilitate cross-functional PFMEA sessions with Engineering, Manufacturing, and operations team.
- Develop, implement, and maintain Control plans for all product families and manufacturing processes in accordance with AS9100 requirements.
- Apply continuous improvement methodologies, manage customer complaints, and monitor quality performance data, and Quality SOP's.
- Drive closure and accountability for NCMRs, Customer Complaints, SQARs, CARs, MRB, MOC, and audit findings.
- Collaborate with S&T on batch ticket review, analyze technical documentation, and manufacturing data.
- As the Quality Engineer - Aerospace Materials you will support the development, manufacturing, and sustainment of sealants, coatings, and adhesives product lines at the Shelby site.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Math, Science, Computer Science, or commensurate experience required.
- Working knowledge of AS9100, ISO standards, and aerospace regulatory compliance is required.

Nice to have
- Certifications such as CQE, CQA, Six Sigma, or Lean are preferred.
- Strong background in aerospace, quality sciences, RCCA, SPC, and Continuous Improvement preferred.
