- What You Will Contribute: The Production Supervisor is responsible for the direct supervision of hourly staff across multiple manufacturing departments.
Responsibilities
- Identifying and leveraging opportunities to accelerate results and build capability by assigning tasks and decision-making responsibilities to individuals or teams with clear boundaries, expectations, support, and follow-up.
Requirements
- Must be familiar with Material Safety Data Sheets.
- Must have or be able to obtain CPR and First Aid training.
- Ability to use critical thinking to make important decisions for team and business operation required.
- Ability to think and react quickly should production challenges arise required.
- Ability to demonstrate time management skills/ manage many projects or tasks at once. required.
- Ability to demonstrate conflict resolution required.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft office desired.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a related field desired
Skills
- Responsible for communicating and transferring knowledge to direct reports for training purposes.
- Utilize manufacturing software programs and systems for materials management, shop floor scheduling, packaging, and equipment operation.
