About the role

  • Marketwake is seeking an experienced and strategic Social Media Manager to join our dynamic Organic Social Media team.
  • This role will focus heavily on B2B clients across platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and others - helping brands grow their presence, engage with audiences, and convert attention into action.
  • This is a key position for someone who thrives on creative storytelling, understands the nuances of the B2B digital landscape, and can turn analytics into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead social media strategies that align with client goals, industry best practices, and audience insights.
  • Build and manage content calendars and posting schedules for multiple clients across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
  • Partner with internal creative teams to ensure content aligns with broader marketing initiatives and brand voice.
  • Collaborate with designers and video editors to produce visually compelling assets optimized for each platform.
  • Repurpose long-form client content (e.g., blogs, webinars, or podcasts) into social-friendly formats that drive engagement and awareness.
  • Lead organic campaign launches, social experiments, and creative activations that drive engagement and awareness.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with social media scheduling, analytics, and reporting tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, or native platform analytics).

Nice to have

  • Experience guiding junior team members or collaborating in cross-departmental projects a plus.

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on social media management experience (agency experience strongly preferred).
  • Proven success managing B2B social media accounts, particularly on LinkedIn and other thought leadership-driven channels.
  • Solid understanding of content strategy, audience targeting, and engagement tactics for organic social.
