Time Management
About the role
- Operator will load, unload, and inspect parts during the machining process.
- Operator will be responsible for the quality of the parts being produced and for achieving production standards.
- This position requires de-burring, polishing, and cleaning parts at the machine on some work.
Responsibilities
- Performs basic math calculations, including addition and subtraction of decimals.
- Maintains dimensional tolerances between ±.0003"-.005" or greater.
- Maintains accurate part counts, fills out Box Tags, and Job/Quantity Tracker.
- Reports and asks supervisor/lead for assistance with any machining problems.
- Maintains a clean work area and observes all safety procedures
- Can execute machine offsets and insert changes with direction of supervisor or lead-person.
- Performs some lower level set-up tasks with supervision.
Requirements

- Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:
Nice to have
- 2+ years of prior experience operating CNC machinery required.
- Experience in manufacturing or manufacturing quality environment preferred.
Skills
- Good working knowledge of CNC functional and technical skills, controls and instrumentation
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent judgment and decision-making capabilities.
