About the role
- Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE) is a subsidiary of Sony Corporation of America (a subsidiary of the Tokyo based Sony Corporation).
- Systems Analyst will be a key player in taking new applications from built or acquired to operational.
- This role in coordination with the Senior Product Manager will be responsible for creating rollout and change control processes to introduce new technologies to the studio and ensuring their long-term stability.
Responsibilities
- Own the delivery of applications and enhancements across production and post-production ecosystems
- Lead cross-functional coordination across engineering, vendors, product and productions teams to deliver new capabilities
- Drive end-to-end production readiness, including deployment planning, documentation, and training
- Define and maintain secure configuration guides consistent with InfoSec and Studio requirements
- Production Systems & Support
- Own L2-L3 support operations for production and post-production applications, ensuring accountability for system uptime and performance
- Partner with vendors and engineering teams to resolve complex production issues and improve system reliability
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system stability, performance, and user experience
- Maintain documentation for systems, workflows, and support procedures
- Experience owning incident management, root cause analysis, and support processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- 5+ years of experience in application delivery, production systems support, or IT operations roles
- Proven experience supporting and operating production-critical applications in media, entertainment, or similar environments
- Strong understanding of film/TV production and post-production workflows
- Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies
- Ability to operate effectively in high-pressure, deadline-driven production environments
Nice to have
- Experience with studio production systems (e.g. Cloud storage platforms, Box, Slack, EP Applications - Scenechronize, Sync on Set, Google Workspace, Airtable)
- Knowledge of ITSM tools and frameworks (ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, etc.)

Compensation
- The anticipated base salary for this position is $108,000-$135,000.
