Responsibilities
- Perform root-cause investigations and corrective action implementation.
- Develop and execute troubleshooting plans while coordinating cross-functional teams.
- Drive issues to completion through ownership, communication, and status reporting.
- Maintain Technical Data Packages (TDPs) and create engineering change documentation using cPDM.
- Analyze defect and yield data to identify and implement process improvements.
- Support manufacturing and production operations for electronic assemblies.
- This role supports production operations by troubleshooting complex electrical and electronic systems, driving root-cause investigations, resolving factory and supplier issues, and implementing corrective actions.
- The engineer will coordinate across cross-functional teams to develop and execute resolution plans, maintain technical documentation, and support manufacturing yield improvements.
- Manufacturing or production support experience for electronic assemblies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with one or more of the following:
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging complex circuit card assemblies (CCAs).
- Experience performing Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations.
- Ability to read and interpret:
- Hands-on proficiency with electrical test equipment.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting:
- Electronic subsystems
- PCB fabrication and assembly process experience.
- Subsystem integration and test experience.
- Post-test or flight test analysis experience.
- Statistical Process Control (SPC) experience.
- Engineering Change Notice (ECN) implementation experience.
- Technical writing and formal presentation experience.
