About the role
- Provide athletic training services in a safe and effective manner to student athletes and sports performance clients, in accordance with the Missouri State Athletic Training Practice Act.
- Identify, report, address, and triage a variety of sports related injuries that pertain to the athletes at the school, event, or clinic where coverage is being rendered.
- Facilitate and coordinate the care of injured athletes at CoxHealth designated locations while under the direction of the CoxHealth Sports Medicine Director.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training or a related field from an accredited institution
- Required: Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training or a related field from an accredited institution
Nice to have
- Master's Degree in Athletic Training or a related field from an accredited institution
- Previous athletic training experience
- Preferred: Master's Degree in Athletic Training or a related field from an accredited institution
- Preferred: Previous athletic training experience
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical/problem solving skills
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams
- Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- Required: Missouri Athletic Training License that is both active and in good standing
