About the role

  • Reporting to the Community Manager, the Assistant Community Manager is responsible for the administration and leasing functions at the property.
  • The Assistant Community Manager is responsible for the implementation and
  • execution of resident relations and engagement programs, including the planning and execution of resident appreciation events.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain positive tenant relations by addressing issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Prepare and review leasing documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions, maintenance requests, and resident interactions.
  • Perform general administrative duties, such as answering phone calls, emails, and maintaining tenant files.
  • Collect rent and manage late payment issues, including issuing notices for non-payment.
  • Help the Community Manager manage evictions and legal notices, ensuring proper procedure is followed.
  • QuadReal seeks to deliver strong investment returns while creating sustainable environments that bring value to the people and communities it serves.

Requirements

  • Experience in Property Management, Hospitality, or other closely related industries
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, ability to multitask
  • Must be a self-starter with a high degree of initiative, flexibility, and professionalism
  • Knowledge of Yardi Voyager and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with smart phone and tablet technology
  • Post-secondary education preferred
  • Superior ability to develop and sustain cooperating working relationships with staff, contractors, the public and residents
  • A passion for excellence in customer service delivery
  • Ability to work flexible hours
