About the role
- Anthropic is looking for a writer and editor to help shape how we talk about our research, products, and company.
- You'll join our Editorial Publishing team, which is responsible for creating a home for writing that gives readers a sense of what Anthropic is, and makes our mission more concrete.
- The other part is helping us hold the line on everything we publish.
Responsibilities
- Develop new ideas and formats suitable for helping Anthropic reach a wider range of audiences. Launch, experiment and generally drive forward our work into new realms.
- Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
Requirements
- Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Nice to have
- Familiarity editing non-professional writers
- Experience with executive speechwriting or live events content
- Some fluency with social platforms like X and LinkedIn

Compensation
- $295,000 - $345,000 USD
- Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
- Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
- However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
