About the role

  • More broadly, we are looking for an individual who enjoys working with animal models and brings scientific rigor, intellectual curiosity, enthusiasm, and a desire to innovate new nucleic acid therapeutics.

Responsibilities

  • Develop in-house capabilities to support work performed at CROs.
  • Research Associate to drive histology and related bio-analytics for platform development and therapeutic proof-of-principle.

Requirements

  • Masters or BS in relevant discipline with 5+ years of industry experience.
  • Experience with in-vivo studies, ideally involving LNP delivery and/or nucleic-acid based therapeutics in rat, mouse, and NHP.
  • Deep expertise in ex-vivo analytical assays such as ELISA, MSD, qPCR, ddPCR, FACS, etc.
  • Experience with histological tissue analysis (IHC/IF, ISH, H&E, etc.) including tissue harvest, embedding, sectioning, staining, imaging and image analysis.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary, and rapidly growing biotech environment.

  • The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate flexibility in supporting the accelerated timelines associated with data generation, analysis, and reporting for in vivo studies.

Nice to have

  • Experience with various mouse and rat models of diseases is a plus.
  • Experience performing in-vivo procedures in rodents, including preparation and administration of therapeutics and collecting material (blood, tissue, etc.) for ex-vivo analysis is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with flow-cytometry, including panel design, execution and analysis is a plus.
