About the role
- Demonstrates willingness to give and receive feedback and integrates appropriate changes into practice.
- Uses the language of partnership with patients and families, engaging them in their health and health care.
- Examples: Push/pull patients on bed, stretcher (requires 29 lbs. push force), lateral transfers up to 50 lbs. of the patient's weight.
Responsibilities
- Develops nursing plans of care with the patient and their designated care partner(s) to effectively address the individualized needs and priorities of patients and are consistent with their cultural beliefs and values.
Requirements
- Specialized Diploma Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
- Cultural Awareness Knowledge of people with diverse backgrounds and the ability to convey respect and connect effectively.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's Degree BSN or completion of BSN or appropriate advanced degree within 3 years of hire strongly preferred
- 1 year Previous experience as an RN in an acute care setting strongly preferred
Compensation
- $40k-$50k
