About the role

Reporting to the General Counsel, the Associate General Counsel will provide strategic legal support across corporate, healthcare regulatory, and other functions.
This role serves as a key advisor to senior leadership, and will require business-minded legal support across multiple functions, including acting as lead attorney on corporate governance/securities matters and advising on compliance, employment and other matters.

Manage a corporate attorney handling SEC compliance
support corporate governance best practices and initiatives, including board and committee support as needed
and support the insider trading policy.
support Compensation Committee matters as needed.
Help implement cost and time-saving processes, controls and legal department automation and participate in other duties as requested or needed.

Knowledge of SEC, FDA and OIG regulatory landscape, and general commercial law relevant to the medtech industry.

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school and active member in good standing of at least one U.S. state bar (California preferred).
Clinical development and transactional experience preferred.
Start-up company experience preferred.

A candidate's final salary offer will be based on their skills, education, work location and experience, and thus it may differ from the posted range.
Performance-based incentive compensation (varies by role)
$295,000 - $370,000 USD
Compensation may also include bonuses consistent with Ceribell's corporate compensation plan.
