About the role

This role is responsible for managing projects through the full lifecycle-from early feasibility and development through construction and closeout-while ensuring safety, quality, regulatory compliance, and alignment with business objectives.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Conduct feasibility studies and alternative analyses to assess technical, financial, and operational viability and support early project development activities.
Develop, maintain, and execute detailed project plans and schedules in alignment with the TC Energy Operating Model (TOMS) and Project Delivery Standard (PDS).
Manage all phases of the project lifecycle, including scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, execution, and reporting.
Develop and implement Project Execution Plans for both development and execution phases.
Collaborate with the integrated Supply Chain team on contractor engagement, scope development, RFPs, contract feedback, and issuance of Release Orders (ROs) and Purchase Orders (POs).
Manage changes to scope, schedule, and cost, ensuring all changes are documented, approved, and communicated effectively.
Maintain regular communication with client and stakeholder groups and proactively manage expectations.
Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies through team engagement, risk registers, and control plans.
Oversee project design and facilitate technical reviews to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and legal requirements.
Provide input to and support regulatory applications and permits for facilities and pipeline projects.

5 to 10 years of related industry experience in project management or construction management.
Knowledge of regulatory processes in relevant jurisdictions.
Identify and allocate required resources, partnering with the Construction Management & Inspection (CM&I) team to support construction execution.

Experience in the natural gas pipeline industry is preferred.
