About the role
- The Reverse Engineering Drafter will report directly to the Technical Support Manager and be responsible for reverse engineering of parts, assemblies, and the workscopes therein.
Responsibilities
- Read and understand AutoCAD drawings/sketches and standards Consult with the engineering team while utilizing design concepts and determining requirements for detailed working drawings Measuring parts using instruments such as electronic metrology equipment, rulers, calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.
- Collaborate with pump shop employees to gather critical data/information for reverse engineering Effectively communicate with customer service personnel to ensure updates are provided on job progress and needs/hold points are effectively communicated Reverse engineering pump parts such as impellers, pump cases, bearing houses, etc.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Inventor Cam and Master Cam experience AutoCAD experience Reverse Engineering Pump Parts experience KSB Group is an
- High School diploma/GED and/or 3+ years of equivalent work experience Drafting or equivalent technical degree preferred Desire to grow beyond the current scope of drafter duties and responsibilities Able to communicate effectively and professionally.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Previous experience working as a member of a successful team.
