About the role

Responsibilities

  • The selected candidate will be embedded within an Agile delivery squad responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of backend microservices.
  • Working primarily in Java 21 with Spring Boot, the individual will contribute to the full software development lifecycle - from solution design and coding to testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Design and build RESTful and event-driven microservices for banking workflows such as payments, account management, transaction processing, and reporting.
  • Develop and optimize data access and persistence layers using MongoDB, ensuring performance, reliability, and data integrity at scale.
  • Collaborate with architects, product owners, and QA engineers to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and support knowledge transfer within the team.
