About the role

  • The LCS/MCM DMPC Team Lead provides technical expertise, operational oversight, and maintenance support for Navy minesweeping systems, specialized deck equipment, and mission support platforms aboard warships and military auxiliary vessels assigned to mine countermeasure operations. This position serves as a principal subject matter expert responsible for

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and operational support for Navy minesweeping systems, mission equipment, and associated deck gear.
  • Support planning, execution, and oversight of maintenance activities involving minesweeping equipment and specialized mission systems.
  • Provide technical guidance regarding operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of minesweeping systems and associated support equipment currently employed by the U.S. Navy.
  • Support readiness assessments, maintenance evaluations, operational reviews, and casualty response activities for mine countermeasure platforms.
  • Support modernization initiatives, lifecycle sustainment planning, and fleet readiness programs related to mine countermeasure operations.

Requirements

  • A minimum of fifteen (15) years of supervisory experience in analysis, information systems operations, and implementation of technical projects.
  • Experience of twenty-five (25) or more years in these areas is considered highly desirable.
  • Minimum of fifteen (15) years of supervisory-level watchstanding experience aboard multiple warships or military auxiliary vessels with diesel engine main propulsion systems, including service as:
  • Extensive experience as a shipboard Engineering Officer of the Watch (EOOW) on multiple ships
  • Demonstrated supervisory main propulsion experience with Navy surface ships maintenance processes
  • In-depth knowledge of Navy ship depot level maintenance processes
  • In-depth knowledge of the theory and workings of surface ship maintenance processes

Nice to have

  • Prior experience supporting Navy fleet readiness, modernization, maintenance, or lifecycle sustainment programs.
  • Experience supporting shipyard maintenance, depot-level engineering activities, or waterfront operations.
  • Familiarity with Navy maintenance databases, engineering documentation systems, and quality assurance tracking tools.
  • Experience supporting engineering assessments, inspections, or maintenance program audits.
  • Undergraduate or associates degree or extensive demonstrated experience in a management role
  • Active DoD security clearance (Secret) required.

Compensation

  • $95k-$115k
