About the role

  • This role is critical to ensure the reliability, efficiency, and safety of our plant operations.
  • You will oversee all aspects of maintenance, including equipment repair, preventative maintenance, inventory control, and team leadership, while driving continuous improvement and supporting production goals.
  • This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone with a strong background in dairy manufacturing, technical expertise, and a passion for operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Preventative Maintenance: Develop, implement, and manage a robust preventative maintenance (PM) program using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Troubleshooting & Repairs: Lead troubleshooting efforts for mechanical, electrical, and utility systems to minimize downtime and support production continuity.
  • Inventory & Cost Control: Manage spare parts inventory, stockroom organization, and maintenance budgets to ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement plant improvement initiatives focused on equipment reliability, process efficiency, and yield optimization.
  • Flexibility: Available on work days, off-shifts, and weekends as needed to support plant operations.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and drive results.

Nice to have

  • Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
