Responsibilities

  • Mary Bird Perkins and its partners work together to provide state-of-the-art treatments and unparalleled collaborative, comprehensive cancer services.
  • Perform and maintain quality control procedures for PET imaging.
  • Perform functional imaging (PET) scans for diagnostic purpose.
  • Perform diagnostic CT scans for routine radiologic exams.
  • Perform CT scans for radiation treatment planning purposes.
  • Perform chest x-rays

Requirements

  • 2 years experience as nuclear medicine technologist
  • 2 years experience as radiological technologist
  • Certificate in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • Graduate of an AMA accredited program in radiologic technology
  • Registered by ARRT and NMTCB with current license by the state of Louisiana

Nice to have

  • CT experience preferred
  • Phlebotomist training preferred
