About the role

  • AT A GLANCE RVO Health seeks a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join our interdisciplinary medical weight loss team.
  • This whole-person, programmatic primary care model transforms virtual healthcare nationwide by supporting each patient with care navigators, case managers, dietitians, and medical providers.
  • This fully remote, full-time role offers a Monday-Friday schedule with no weekends or holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, dietitians, care navigators, engagement specialists, Registered Nurses
  • Deliver culturally responsive, patient-centered counseling that fosters sustainable lifestyle changes and ensures a safe, respectful space for patients to share challenges and successes.
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in the EHR, ensuring clear, compliant and up-to-date pt records.
  • Support operational excellence by performing necessary administrative tasks and adhering to collaborative practice agreements and state specific telehealth laws.
  • You will deliver virtual primary care focused on obesity management through synchronous (real-time) virtual telemedicine.
  • As a provider, you will diagnose, treat, and manage obesity as a chronic disease and its related comorbidities.

Requirements

  • Active, unencumbered NP, APRN license: must be in good standing and eligible to practice in designated states.
  • Minimum of 5 years' clinical experience with at least 1 year in obesity medicine and telemedicine each
  • Licensure flexibility. must be able to qualify for and obtain unrestricted licensure in additional states as required by clinical platform

Nice to have

  • Obesity medicine certification or training
  • Previous telemedicine experience.
  • Multi-state licensure (compact or multiple states) - preferred 10+
  • Familiarity with value-based or outcomes-oriented care models.
  • Team-oriented and mission aligned.
  • Excellent presentation skills for both clinical and non-clinical audiences
