About the role

The Field Service Technician is responsible for performing field service activities at customer sites safely, efficiently, and professionally.
This role involves troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and operation of mechanical, electrical, diesel, and other specialized equipment depending on the business unit.

Perform troubleshooting, repair, installation, and preventative maintenance on customer and company-owned equipment.
Manage and maintain parts inventory and service documentation.
Deliver high-quality customer service while serving as a primary point of contact in the field.
Collaborate effectively with team members while maintaining the ability to work independently.

High school diploma or GED required.
This position requires strong troubleshooting skills, critical thinking, and the ability to work independently in a variety of field environments.
Ability to obtain customer-specific clearances (TWIC, DISA, or similar)
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and diesel-related issues as applicable.
Identify, communicate, and address safety concerns at customer sites.
Complete service reports and required documentation accurately and timely.
Demonstrate accountability, innovation, and ownership in daily work activities.
Overnight travel and extended time away from home may be required.
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) review.
Ability to complete all required driver qualification documentation.

Promote and maintain a safe work environment for employees, customers, and contractors.
