About the role
- This role provides strategic direction for on-premises, cloud, and hybrid infrastructure environments while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards and technology roadmaps.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the enterprise infrastructure architecture roadmap.
- Ensure infrastructure designs meet performance, availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity requirements.
- Partner with operational teams to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and develop long-term solutions.
- Review and approve infrastructure designs, configurations, and implementation plans.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to integrate security-by-design principles.
- Evaluate and implement identity, access management, network security, and data protection controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, systems engineering, cloud architecture, or enterprise architecture.
- 3+ years of experience designing enterprise-scale infrastructure solutions.
- Strong understanding of networking, compute, storage, virtualization, and cloud technologies.
- Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Microsoft Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and infrastructure security best practices.
- Experience in disaster recovery, high availability, and business continuity planning.

- Define infrastructure standards, best practices, and governance frameworks.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to the infrastructure ecosystem.
