Responsibilities

  • Manage the Business Units Quality & Mission Assurance (QMA) organization consisting of Quality and Mission Assurance Managers who oversee Mission Assurance, Program / Product Quality, Supplier Quality, Quality Management System, Audits, Training, Inspection, and Metrology/Calibration.
  • Maintains the highest level of commitment to quality, compliance and internal controls in adherence to company values and ethics.
  • Develops and administers budgets, schedules, and performance standards.
  • Establish and manage key project and process indicators / measures to assess project success and process performance.
  • Support Return to Green, Failure Analysis, and Corrective Action activities with focus on full resolution and future risk mitigation.

Requirements

  • BA, BS or master's degree in a STEM, Operations/Manufacturing, or Business field
  • Bachelor's Degree with 10 years management or leadership experience
  • Master's degree with 8 years management or leadership experience
  • Experience with DoD contracts and requirements
  • AS9100 or Equivalent Quality Management System (QMS) experience
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for all positions with a government clearance and certain other restricted positions.

Nice to have

  • Degree in STEM, Business Management, or related fields highly desired
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, change management, and analytical skills
  • Experience with Corporate wide projects
  • Proven experience communicating at all levels of the organization
  • ASQ Certified Quality Manager / Organizational Excellence (CQM/OE)
  • Program / Project Management Experience
  • Lean-Six Sigma Black Belt
  • Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.

Compensation

  • $151,500.00 - $251,300.00
  • The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
  • Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
  • Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
