About the role
- The Steam and Plant Systems Specialist serves as a subject matter expert and regularly provides "senior level" knowledge and solutions to the facility's plant operations team.
- This includes frequent computer, phone, and cable set-up and use. - Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transport, pull, and push equipment.
Responsibilities
- For roles requiring driving: Expected to drive a vehicle which requires sitting, seeing and reading signs, traffic signals, and other vehicles.
Requirements
- current licensure if required by the authority having jurisdiction.
- A valid driver's license may be required for this position.
- Demonstrated effective communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions.
- Regardless of specialty, a Steam and Plant Systems Specialist may be required to perform other maintenance tasks as needed, such as minor repairs or assisting with other projects.
- Demonstrates the ability to prioritize work appropriately.

- Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and be able to assess customer needs.
- Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy.

- Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transport, pull, and push equipment.
- Will also work on hands and knees and bend to set-up, troubleshoot, lift, and carry supplies and equipment.
- Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items.
- Bending, lifting, stooping, crawling, laying, sitting, walking, climbing.
