Are you a passionate Special Education Teacher ready to make a significant impact on students' academic development in the Brooklyn area?
With a substantial shortage city-wide of qualified special education teachers, your skills are urgently needed to help students get the individualized instruction they need.
As a SETSS teacher with Knowledge Road, you will provide individualized and small-group instruction in educational settings, working closely with families and school teams to promote student progress and academic success.

Develop and submit quarterly progress reports and maintain regular family communication with updates on progress and next steps.
Document service delivery and student performance in Knowledge Road's system with precise and timely documentation.
Create and implement engaging and effective lesson plans that meet the unique academic, social, and emotional needs of each individual student.

Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Experience teaching Mathematics and ELA.
NYC DOE fingerprinting clearance required, or willingness to obtain prior to start.
Valid NYS Students with Disabilities (B-2, 1-6, 7-12, or All Grades) or NYS Literacy Specialist.
Must not have been employed by NYC DOE in the past 12 months.
Dependable transportation.

$60 - $100 per hour (1099). Rates vary by group size and placement. Individual IESP sessions generally start at $60/hr.
