Responsibilities

  • Provides direction to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA), departmental support staff, departmental clerical staff (as duties relate to treatment), occupational therapy students, and volunteers.
  • Maintains accurate records of each patient's treatment, progress, and/or regression according to the Service Delivery Standard using paper or electronic systems, as necessary.
  • Maintains confidentiality of patient and hospital information.
  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationship with patients, their families, and other staff personnel.

Requirements

  • Minimum Required:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of occupational therapy, receiving applicable degree or certificate in occupational therapy course of study, with Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
  • Master's Degree: Clinical experience in a hospital-based setting.

Compensation

  • $37.00 - $55.50 per hour, depending on experience
  • Up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus for candidates who meet eligibility criteria.
