- The Multiphysics Systems Engineering Analyst - Acoustics & Optics will contribute to the development of advanced sensing solutions that integrate acoustic and optical technologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and analyze multi-modal sensing systems (acoustic and optical)
- Perform multiphysics modeling and simulation to support system design and trade-offs
- Design and implement algorithms and software tools for signal processing, data analysis, and visualization (e.g., Python, MATLAB, C/C++)
- Design and execute laboratory and field experiments to evaluate system performance
- Build and integrate prototype sensing systems (sensors, data acquisition, embedded components)
- Support integration, testing, and performance evaluation of systems
- Contribute to technical documentation and reports (models, results, design rationale)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across hardware, software, and algorithms
- Successful applicants must meet all applicable security requirements, including but not limited to the ability to obtain and maintain a Canadian government security clearance.

Requirements
- Master's degree or higher in Engineering Physics, Physics, Mechatronics, or related field
- Experience with modeling, simulation, or algorithm development
- Experience with sensor systems and experimental methods
- Applicants may be required to meet additional security requirements in order to gain access to technical data, classified areas or information that is subject to international regulations.
- You must be eligible to work in Canada.

- Experience working with or familiarity with AI/ML models is preferred.

Compensation
- $100k-$115k
