- The Technical Writer will ensure that all documentation complies with applicable military standards such as MIL‑STD‑40051‑1/2, MIL‑STD‑38784, MIL‑PRF‑63002, and MIL‑HDBK‑1222.
Requirements
- 3 years technical writing experience with a focus on DoD and military applications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
- Working knowledge of structured Extensible Markup Language (XML) authoring tools such as PTC Arbortext or equivalent
- Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks, PTC Creo, or equivalent
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics
- The ideal candidate will have strong time management skills, the ability to multitask, and a proactive approach to balancing program priorities and project deadlines.
